The Estate Garden I created my first display garden on a one-acre site on top of Cooper Mountain. in South Beaverton. It is the culmination of 15 years of work, training and love. It has sunny and shade borders, flagstone paths, a dry creek bed, a cottage shed, 30 ft. arbor, a raised vegetable garden, an orchard and two rose gardens. The Suburban Garden Recently I downsized to a 55' x 116' garden in Hillsboro, where I'm creating my second display garden. The front yard focuses on leaf color and texture for interest, with bronze, gray and burgundy foliage featured. The back yard is a traditional mixed border with a winding flagstone path and a simple water feature of two bronze statues of children playing in a birdbath. |
