In order to make the best use of my time and expertise, I ask the client to provide a scaled site plan of the area they wish to design. I have a handout to help the client accomplish this task. I'm also available to prepare the site plan if needed. During this consultation we will discuss the area of concern, assessing both the positive and negative aspects of the site. We will use the client's ideas as well as pictures and articles they have found that help communicate their desires. These ideas will be recorded onto the site plan to create a landscape plan for that area. Plants will also be selected and identified on that plan using plant codes that reference a master plant list that will be provided. When

The Extended Landscape Consultation is appropriate in cases where a full design is not desired, but the scope of the area of concern is too large or complex for a single visit. If appropriate I can tailor a series of consultations or a single consultation plus office time to suit your needs. You can visit the Design Process area of the website to download the "How To Prepare a Site" survey and a questionnaire form. |
